Child Protection Policy
Ivana Foundation has zero tolerance for child abuse. We are committed to the safety, rights, and well-being of every child we serve.
1. Our Commitment
We believe that every child is created in the image of God and deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing environment free from exploitation, abuse, and neglect. This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, board members, and partners of the Ivana Foundation.
2. Core Principles
- Best Interest of the Child: The welfare of the child is our paramount consideration in all decisions and activities.
- Zero Tolerance: We will not tolerate any form of abuse—physical, sexual, emotional, or neglect.
- Accountability: We hold all personnel and partners accountable to strict behavioral standards.
3. Media & Photography Standards
To protect the dignity and safety of children, we adhere to strict guidelines regarding the collection and use of images:
- We will never publish full names combined with exact locations of vulnerable children.
- Images will act to preserve dignity and will not portray children as helpless victims but as individuals with potential.
- All media collection requires informed consent from guardians.
4. Reporting Procedures
Any suspicion or allegation of abuse must be reported immediately. Ivana Foundation maintains a mandatory reporting mechanism. If you suspect a breach of this policy, please contact our Safeguarding Officer immediately at safeguarding@ivanafoundation.org.
